TOP TO BOTTOM
T2B is easy-to-follow, and great for self-instruction or to use tutoring. It starts with the basics such as: parts of the drum set; notes & beats; singles; doubles; rolls; beats and fills in a variety of styles; music reading; and more. The CD is super helpful for students who excel in auditory learning. Great fun to play along with the backing tracks too!
SYNCOPATION
Voted second on Modern Drummer’s list of 25 Greatest Drum Books in 1993, Syncopation is one of the most versatile and practical books ever written for snare and drum kit players. This book includes many accented eighths, dotted eighths and sixteenths, eighth-note triplets and sixteenth notes for extended solos. We have a lot of fun with our students with: this book, a pair of sticks. a practice pad and a metronome.
DRUM AEROBICS
The cool thing about this book is that it is broken into 52 weeks, each with a ‘day of the week’ 1-4 bar exercise and accompanying backing track to keep your drumming goals easily attainable, short and accountable. The book covers a number of different styles which is a great reference for grooves and fills in various styles.
bRhythmic has a couple left in stock from a bulk order we made last year, so give us a yell if would like to get your paws on a copy and we will get you a copy faster than you can say “Drum Aerobics”.
